2010 Annual Expressions Student Art Exhibit at  Muskegon Museum of Art.

Congratulations to the following students for having their artwork selected to hang in the annual art show at the museum!

2009 Arts & Humanities Festival

Cannon Gallery Art Show

The 2009 Arts & Humanities Festival is going on in downtown Muskegon in the month of October. To honor youth arts, the Cannon Gallery in the Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts is having a Student Art Show. 12 Schools in the Muskegon area will be showcasing their art. Mrs. Jacobson is proud to have Fruitport Middle School in this show. She has selected six students artworks to represent Fruitport Middle School. The exhibit will run from October 1 thru October 30, 2009.  Give the following students a huge congratulations:

LAKES 8 FINE ART COMPETITION
Its ART competition time! The art is on the way to represent the talent here at Fruitport Middle School in the Lakes 8 Juried Fine Arts Competition. This is an art competition where some of our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students art will compete against 6th, 7th and 8th graders from other schools.

    Expressions 2009
    Congratulations to Addison Walstra, Kayla Archer, Amber Crotty, Madison Hurtubise, Hannah Covert, Rebecca Stroh and Cathy Griffith  for having their artwork selected to hang in the 2009 Annual Student Art Exhibit at the Muskegon Museum of Art . The show will be on display March 12th – May 3rd.

      NUVEEN CENTER – 2009 Change of Seasons Student Art Show! 
    Another set of artists work went to Whitehall Michigan to compete in a juried student art show. This means that they were judged and had to be accepted.  Congratulations to Ryan Mason, Halley VanHassel, Alex Farber, Jade Paquin, Lauren Sanders, David Everett,  and Hannah Covert for having their artwork selected to hang in the 2009 Nuveen Center for the Arts Annual Change of Seasons Juried Student Art Show. Their work will be on display in the Nuveen Center galley downtown Whitehall from March 20 – April 11.
