  5. Add the following terms to your Lit. and Writing Terms chart:  essay–a brief composition on a single subject, usually the personal views of the writer; thesis–a statement of the focus of the essay, the plan; anecdote–brief stories used as examples to illustrate or support a writers ideas.

  7. Circuit read selection, “The Teacher Who Changed My Live” by Nicholas Gage.
  8. Add 3 vocab. words from the selection to your collection.
