NEXT IMAGERY MEETING

creativity1.jpgIF YOU LOVE TO WRITE, JOIN US!

We celebrated the Christmas holiday at Mary G.’s house. Great snacks, great marathon session of Paige’s Name Game–what more could we want??

Soon we will have to get down to the publishing business, publishing Escape 2008.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, January 12, 2009.  If you have questions, leave them here or talk to Mrs. K. in room 141.

If you would like to join us, just bring a piece of original writing and an open mind.  Hope to see you there.

    Is this for all grades?

  2. dkennedy Says:

All high school grades, Mackenzie. Grades 9 - 12 are invited.

  3. Mackenzie Johnson Says:

What do we do at these imagery meetings? Do we write the whole time or is it like a book club?

  4. dkennedy Says:

Hi, Mackenzie. Thanks for your interest in Imagery.

Typically, Imagerians bring along a piece they have written—a poem, part of a story, for example—to read to the group. We listen closely and then give feedback, suggestions for revision. Check out the Imagery tab at the top of this page and also the Imagery category to the left.

So, if I’ve missed the first meeting, I’m still welcome to the following meetings? If so, that really works, because I had plans on that first Monday, but I’m free for all the others.

  6. dkennedy Says:

We’d love to see you, Kyle. Some of our members are in marching band and can’t attend until after marching season. So, no one attends every meeting. See you Monday.
