About Me
My name is Danielle Veltman and I am in my 7th year at Fruitport Middle School. I have taught 7th grade Math, Pre-Algebra, and Language Arts. I am from a very small town in Northern Michigan called Marion. My graduating class had only 49 students! After high school, I attended Central Michigan University. While there, I was a cheerleader for CMU football and basketball and was also a Resident Assistant in Emmons Hall for two years. One of my best experiences at CMU was volunteering for International Spring Break and taking a trip to Manaus, Brazil, South America. We were there for 10 days working at a school for children with special needs.
In August 2007, I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and School Principalship from Central Michigan University.
I am married and have two beautiful children. My son is 4 years old and my daughter is one. In my spare time, I like to read, go running, shop, and yes, I am a little TV junkie. I also love spending time with my friends and family.
