I thought this tale was very interesting. Virgina would willingly die before she would let her virginity be taken from her. I don’t understand how her farther could just kill her, I mean it was his daughter. This tale shows us how special being a person of virginity and chasity. Some people value these things and wound do whatever it would take to hang on to them, until they to give them away.

I did not like this tale at all. I thought it was wrong for the dad to kill his daughter, and wrong for the physician to want such a young girl. I thought the daughter had a lot of courage to know that her dad was going to kill her, and be ok with it. I know if my dad told me he had to kill me so I wouldn’t be shamed, I would probably run away instead of asking for a little bit of time.
