Check it out you can not access the safety test on-line.  In the next couple of days you will also be able to access safety videos for the machines.  So, if you miss a day or need to refresh you memory or finish your test, all you need to do is click on the video and view it.  Isn’t technology great!

This weeks case study involved students  using  one piece of paper and glue.  They were asked to build a structure that was at least 3″ in height and it must hold and balance 25 pounds.  Sounds hard right!  Well, several of our groups completed the task and one group held 411lbs.  Yes, four hundred and eleven pounds ……now that’s cool.  We actually had to stack students on top on one another to even get 411 lbs.  Check back to check out the pictures from our class

If you are new to the blog this project consisted up students building a house using paper, cardboard and used coffee stirrers for 2×4’s to form the walls.  Next, we tested the house to see if they were build to withstand  a hurricane, we flooded the houses, shot debris at the house and hammered it with heavy wind.  So, enjoy taking a step into our classroom.

Welcome back students, we are almost done with our first couple projects so please check back and look for pictures of our trimester 2 projects.  Coming Soon.

Watch closley because the clips are short and the cars are fast.  You will also notice some of the cars even have TRAILERS!  Check it out!
