We hope to see you at kindergarten orientation September 8th at 10:00.
Here is the schedule:
10:00-10:20
Meet in your child’s classroom. We will do a short activity together.
10:20-11:00
Parents will be escorted by teachers to our cafeteria/gym. Students will stay in the classroom, supervised by Shettler staff. While parents are having an informational meeting led by kindergarten teachers, students will be taking a bus tour and getting some time to explore the classroom and even the playground if weather and time permits.
11:00-11:15
Parents will head back to their classroom to drop off paperwork, ask any specific questions, and pick up your child.
We hope this is a great transition day to help ease any fears about coming to school. It is important to separate from your child for the parent meeting to allow themselves to be independent for a short time, and then see that you come back to get them. This will help students with drop off on the first day of school.

This blog is one of the many ways for me to communicate the wonderful things your children are doing in the classroom & to make sure important information or projects are available to you. You may also place a comment to any blog post.
